Kevin started at Shy Enterprises in June of 2008, after spending 11 years working at Ford Motor Company.
"I had just had enough!" Kevin said. "Years on an assembly line with no rewards, no chance for advancement, just a broken body. Not at all what I was interested in". Kevin said the pay and benefits were ok, and he was getting by enough to support his family, but "it was no career" he said. "I was frustrated everyday, working as hard as I was, but there was no room for growth and advancement."
Kevin left Ford Motor Company in January 2007 to start his own business. "I thought I would be happy being in a field I was passionate about. I thought why not start a business I loved, something that was a hobby of mine!"
Kevin bought into a fishing tackle company. Although his company was doing well, it was not the opportunity he thought. "The money just was not rolling in the way I thought it would." Kevin came to Shy Enterprises looking for a part time position, something just temporary until his fishing business took off.
"One month at Shy Enterprises is all it took for me to know I had found what I was looking for!" Seeing his opportunity for advancement, Kevin put his fishing/tackle business on the back burner and never looked back! Kevin has earned several promotions and awards within just 1 year of starting and is currently the General Manager of our company.

Preston started with our company in September of 2006. Before beginning his opportunity with Shy Enterprises, Preston worked full time in a warehouse for 3 years making $17.00 an hour, but wasn't satisfied with not having an opportunity for upward growth, and the instability of working for companies that did not appreciate him and his good work ethic.
Within a few short months in our company, Preston proved he was able to earn more money than he was at his previous job. Preston has since taken the world class training he received at Shy Enterprises, and has not only broke national company records, but also has had several months of #1 rankings in the company.
